IKSU FRILUFTS
IKSU frilufts was founded in 1976. Our purpose is to offer outdoor experiences in the nature in and around Umeå. We want all IKSU's members, both beginners and experienced, to have access to a variety of outdoor activities, courses and lectures.
OUR TRIPS
Before each semester, we present a new trip schedule for the next 4-6 months. Our trips range from easy day trips to more advanced multi-day trips. We aim to keep our groups small, usually around seven participants with two guides. Some trips quickly become fully signed up, so make sure to sign up as soon as possible.
OUR GUIDES
All our trips are planned and led by at least two guides with outdoor experience. All our guides have have gone through at least 60 hours of training. We aim to make your trip safe and fun.
OUR STORE - SAREK
We want to make outdoor life more accessible to all. In our rental store Sarek, you can rent a lot of outdoor gear at a reasonable price. For example tents, sleeping bags and kayaks. The store is located at IKSU sport.
