What is the nordic touring all about? Is it really possible to go camping in the winter? How do you stay warm? What things are important to consider? We teach you how to ski off track, pitch a tent, cook dinner over the campfire and give you useful tips and tricks for winter adventures. This trip is perfect for the beginner, so leave the workday behind, and come join us for a night outside in the middle of the winter!
We meet at the bus stop “Strömbäck” on Saturday at 12:00, and ski together towards our camp spot. When we arrive, we will pitch the tents together and give you advice and tips for how to set up a campsite in the winter. In the evening, we gather around the campfire and have dinner together, before we turn in for the night. On Sunday morning, we eat breakfast together around the campfire, before we pack everything and head out for a ski tour in Strömbäcks-Kont nature reserve. On the way, we will have our brought lunch before we head back to a bus station in Strömbäck, Sörbäck or Sörböle, planning to arrive back at Vasaplan around 16:00.
