About the trip
Would you like to try tour skating but feel hesitant to venture out on your own? Join us for a wonderful day on the skating track in Tavelsjö!

Trip description
We’ll meet in the morning at Ica Matboa in Tavelsjö, where the tour begins with a brief safety review and an equipment check. Then we’ll head out onto the plowed ice track that winds around the lake. We’ll skate at a pace that suits everyone until hunger calls! After a shared lunch and some cozy time by the fire, we’ll continue skating to ensure we’re back at Ica by 15:00, in time for those taking the bus back to Umeå.

Equipment
During the pre-meeting we go through all equipment and make eventual adjustments of the packing list, for example depending on the weather.
Much of the equipment is available for rental in our outdoor shop Sarek. As a participant you get a reduced price.
